Eoin Hennessy became a professional photographer in 1999, and quickly
established himself in all areas, particularly sport and commercial press. In 2003
he incorporated his business EHP with the style and media business of his sister
Blanaid Hennessy, creating Hennessy Media. They were soon joined by their
dedicated Studio Manager, Frances Long.
Hennessy Media/EHP has rapidly become one of the most successful young
media companies in Kilkenny, with services provided to the Kilkenny People, the
Kilkenny People Weekender, KCLR96fm, the Kilkenny Voice and the Kelly Pages.
The main commercial clients include the Kilkenny GAA, Michael Lyng Motors and
the Langton Group among numerous other repeat clients.
As the reputation and reliability of the business grows stronger, so too does the
request for submissions of work from national press groups. EHP plan to capitalise
on this accomplishment by making www.ehp.ie a stand alone, comprehensive
website service, with a full online store facility.
Plans are also underway for the development of another subsidiary of Hennessy
Media, Imagebox. Kilkenny will become the first location for what aims to be a
national chain of contemporary portrait studios and exhibition spaces.
The style section of Hennessy Media is also going from strength to strength, with
a syndicated style page and development of a high traffic website.
